Dr. Caryn Phillips, pelvic floor physical therapist and women’s health expert, will lead a relaxed and engaging discussion about pelvic floor anatomy, how these important muscles function, and what pelvic floor symptoms can look like. From leaking and discomfort to pelvic pain, we’ll cover it all!

You’ll also learn practical tips and strategies to manage symptoms and improve your pelvic health. Whether you’re curious about prevention, postpartum recovery, or just want to know more about your body, this is the perfect night out for you. Plus, you’ll enjoy a glass of prosecco (or two!) while connecting with other amazing women in a comfortable, supportive environment.

These classes are flexibly designed—you can take them as a full series or drop in for individual sessions, whichever suits your schedule best!

Core Confidence: Understanding your Pelvic Floor with BeFit (Rockland, MA)

Join us at BeFit South Shore for an informational workshop to learn about your pelvic floor with Dr. Alyssa, a pelvic floor physical therapist from MomLife Health and Wellness.

We will be talking about "what is the pelvic floor?," what signs and symptoms may indicate pelvic floor dysfunction, and how might it impact your exercise/ activity regimen. Additionally, we will do a guided activity with a focus on breath mechanics and proper deep core activation to be utilized in your future workouts! To finish, we will have a Q&A session for you to get all your final questions answered.
